The predecessor of Nightingale International Culture & Education Foundation USA is Nightingale Foundation USA. The Foundation was founded in 1855 and enrolled in Los Angeles, USA. The foundation regarding Madam Nightingale’s international love and spirit of utter devotion as its grand ideal, devotes to promoting the communication of culture and education among people from each nation all over the world and also the international communication and cooperation in the circle of medical nursing, which sees “let China know the world and let the world know China; let China go to the world and let the world go to China” as its responsibility, providing a communicative platform for people, who are both in China and abroad, and education exchange institutions.

       Ever since the establishment of the Foundation it has managed to hold large international culture and education exchange movements many times and has established the long-term and stable friendly cooperation relationship, developing exchange activities and making progress to each other and also calculating rich experience and resources. Each year the Foundation masterminds various international education and culture exchange activities, so that making more Chinese go abroad, know the world and spread their extensive and profound culture to the world. Meanwhile the foundation also arranges institutions and friendly personages from all over the world to come to China and to exchange their experience and gains and to let them learn the Chinese culture with Chinese colleagues.
